With profound sadness, family, friends, and members of the Trenton community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Rebecca Wilson, 55, whose life ended in a tragic two-vehicle crash on Monday, July 6, 2026, in Fannin County, Texas.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal collision occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on State Highway 121 near Business Highway 121 in Randolph. Authorities reported that a Ram pickup truck traveling southbound crossed into the northbound lanes and collided with a northbound Volvo truck tractor towing a semitrailer. Rebecca was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the crash.
The driver of the semitrailer, 42-year-old Rene Guerrero-Chavarria of Richardson, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Texas DPS continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, and no additional information has been released.
