Christopher Iatauro And Kelly Iatauro Obituary, SAYREVILLE, NEW JERSEY — A federal agent and his wife have died after authorities began investigating their deaths as an apparent murder-suicide at their home in Sayreville.
Police responded Friday to a residence on Glynn Court following a report of a serious incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered 46-year-old Kelly Iatauro unresponsive inside the home and found her husband, 52-year-old Christopher Iatauro, deceased in the backyard.
According to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, investigators believe Christopher Iatauro was responsible for his wife’s death before taking his own life. Authorities have continued reviewing evidence as part of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the couple’s deaths.
Christopher Iatauro was a special agent with the Department of Homeland Security, according to federal records from 2019 and 2020. Officials have not released additional details about what may have led to the tragic incident.
