With profound sadness, family, friends, and the London community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jordan Tyler Gray, 30, whose life ended following a tragic drowning at Laurel Lake in Laurel County, Kentucky.

According to the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, Jordan drowned Thursday evening while attempting to swim across a cove near Cox Road at Laurel Lake. Witnesses reported that he began struggling in the water and went underwater, and he was not seen resurfacing.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and used an underwater drone to assist in locating Jordan. His body was recovered around 7:20 p.m., and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
