Authorities said the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office responded around 4:24 p.m. to the crash near Graff Road and Bradford Road. Investigators determined that Earl Peterson Jr. was driving south on Graff Road when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Bradford Road.
Following the collision, emergency responders arrived at the scene, but despite their efforts, Earl was pronounced dead at the crash site. The other driver involved in the crash, a 20-year-old, was treated for minor injuries. Authorities have not released the identity of the second driver.
