According to authorities, officers with the Warrick County Sheriff’s Department responded to the couple’s Hannah Court residence Monday evening at approximately 8 p.m. to conduct a welfare check. Deputies entered the home and discovered David and Aileen deceased. Authorities said the couple appeared to have been dead for less than 24 hours, and the circumstances surrounding their deaths remain under investigation.
David was a respected member of the Fairfield community, where he was raised and graduated with the Fairfield High School Class of 1975. He built a successful career in television commercial production in Evansville before later becoming the owner and operator of Cigar! Cigar!, a tobacco store in Evansville.
