With profound sadness, we remember and honor the lives of Caleb Oswald, 6, and Abigail Oswald, 7, whose lives ended following a tragic boating accident on Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, during the Fourth of July weekend.
Caleb and Abigail were among three children who lost their lives after a boat capsized during severe weather near Big Foot Beach State Park on July 3. Authorities said a rapidly moving storm created dangerous boating conditions, causing the vessel to overturn. Seven people were rescued, but after a search effort, divers located the sunken boat in approximately 32 feet of water with the three missing children inside. All three children were later pronounced dead.
For their family, Caleb and Abigail were more than siblings — they were best friends who brought endless love, laughter, and happiness into their home. Their family remembered them as children who filled their days with music, hugs, smiles, and unforgettable moments.
