With profound sadness, family, friends, fellow firefighters, and members of the Blanchester community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Wyatt Fisher, 18, who died following a tragic off-duty motorcycle crash on Monday in Clermont County, Ohio.
Wyatt was a young man whose life was defined by service, dedication, and a desire to help others. He proudly served as a firefighter with the Stonelick Township Fire Department and was also a cadet with Wayne Township Fire and EMS, dedicating his time and energy to protecting and supporting his community.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers responded around 12:20 p.m. to a crash on State Route 131 near Dry Run Road. Investigators said Wyatt was riding a motorcycle eastbound when he struck the back of a 2017 Ford Escape that had slowed in traffic. The impact caused the motorcycle to cross into the opposite lane, where it struck another vehicle, a Volkswagen Routan, that was stopped in traffic.
Wyatt was transported to a hospital for treatment following the crash. Despite medical efforts, he later died from the injuries he suffered. The Stonelick Township Fire Department shared that Wyatt’s unexpected passing has created an immeasurable void within the department and throughout the community he proudly served. His fellow firefighters remembered him as someone who showed compassion, humility, and dedication while answering emergency calls and supporting those around him.
Wyatt’s commitment to serving others extended beyond the fire department. He was a graduate of Clermont Northeastern Schools and had recently begun serving as an assistant coach for the boys soccer team. School officials remembered him as an exemplary young man whose leadership, character, and passion for helping others made a lasting impression on students, athletes, and staff.
